In my opinion, you are making a mistake letting Dealer's Choice tow or repair your vehicle. I brought my car here because it's on the AAA approved list. After changing my breaks, I lost my brake fluid creating a very dangerous situation for me. They considered it a coincidence. and unrelated to the brake repair. I suspect they damaged the brake line when they hung my calipers. Having no confidence in them, I called AAA for a tow to another facility. I told AAA not to use Dealers Choice and I told Dealer's Choice not to touch my car again. Somehow Dealers Choice still ended up towing my car. An 11 mile trip took 1 hour from pick up time to deliver my car to the next shop. What was going on for an hour? Many times when picking a mechanic, you are focused on getting a fair price for the work. It doesn't matter what this place charges because, in my opinion, safety is the first concern.
We took my car to these "professionals" to have the coolant replaced in our vehicle. They charged $107 to diagnosis the " problem". $122 to refill with a/c coolant and as we were walking out gave us a quote that we hadn't asked for a total a/c replacement. They said that there was a leak and if the a/c went out again it would have to be replaced completely. 10 miles down the road the a/ c stopped cooling. I told my husband that I didn't trust these guys let's take the car to another a/c repair place. $89 dollars later we have had nice cool air running continuously. Only go to THESE GUYS IF YOU WANT TO THROW YOUR MONEY AWAY. They do a great job at that!
Thanks for taking care of my car.
We called AAA to have our vehicle towed to our own mechanic's shop, and the tow truck driver kept insisting that we take it to their shop. We insisted otherwise and he reluctantly towed it to our place. AAA needs to take note of these tactics and more carefully screen the companies that they allow to be AAA "authorized". When a person is broken down on the side of the road, there is no excuse for the towing company to be pressuring people to take it their own facility. Seems to me that it's a conflict of interest, and I'm surprised AAA doesn't look further into their shady practices, considering that we're not the first to mention this.
Let me say, Josh is a great representative of the company and Dealers Choice is going to be where I'm going to get my car serviced.
Also, i've been a member of AAA since 1976. I'm extremely satisfied that AAA sent "Dealers Choce" to tow my car. The driver Josh told me about the company that he works for, Dealers Choice, including it being a AAA approved facility for auto repair.
My tow driver Steven was a great dude. Very timely on picking me up and was extremely nice. Would definitely recommend for a tow with AAA or if you need autowork done.
Friendly, knowledgeable, courteous and treated my car like gold. What more can you ask for when your car breaks down?
Expert towing. Josh, the tow truck operator treated my car like gold. While sizing up the situation, he suggested that I take a seat in the tow truck, because it wasn't a safe place where my car became disabled.
