I was ruded out by the salesman. I would assume since I questioned the quality of a 15k piece of work, they would have more class to answer properly. BTW after reading the reviews, they are shill reviews. 3 in one month, and then what is an obvious review by someone who was prodded
I am a legitimate and VERY unhappy customer. My Order # was 18379 and my invoice was #9199.
Fines charged me a $500 deposit to order an “in stock” mantel. When it arrived they billed me over the quoted price. I was required to pay by check and had to wait for that check to clear. A month after the check cleared I was at last able to request delivery. Shipping was “free” but I was charged $350 for a crate that was assembled from old boards and carpet remnants. The crate did not do its job and the mantel arrived damaged. It took me a week to get any response from Fines when they told me to notify the shipping carrier because it was “the receiving party’s responsibility”. They also informed me that “the insurance company would not consider this as damage”. Later they suggested that the damage “can be taken care of via touch up kit in lieu of going through lengthy insurance claim” but that was between me and "my insurance".

I am impressed -- Fines Gallery actually exceeded my expectations and truly delivered the most beautiful, white marble fireplace, polished and smoothed with gorgeous, beautifully carved floral detail. Packed and crated so well for shipping -- the marble was all cushioned with nice carpet pieces and there was absolutely no damage -- no cracks -- no flaws. Such a score -- I am happy beyond belief.
